If you guys are looking to put in some kick *** front door 5x7's, check out the JL Audio XR line. They fit perfectly in the door and they come with a true crossover unlike most coaxial's. So if you want component sound without all the cutting and hassle, check em. Run them off a JL amp and you'll crap your pants. It happened to me.

I think the most important thing is to listen to the speakers yourself, because no two people like the same thing. You get what you pay for and 400$ speakers'll sound better than 40$ ones, but most of the speakers mentioned should all sound more than good enough. Personally I've got the boston acoustic pros, 5.25", and I love them. In a lower price range I think the boston rally's are amazing, some people even like them more than the pros, but they're not extremely cheap. Anyways, just my opinion, but thought I'd share it.
