It's either a bad amplifier ground (including the head unit - if you are powering the speakers with the deck's internal amplifier) or a set of bad or poorly shielded RCA cables.
Check your grounds - make them as short as possible, and be certain they are contacting bare metal.

I'd lay money on a bad ground wire to the deck. Sometimes, two perfectly fine wires can cross the wrong way and cause alternator whine also.
Pop the deck, make sure all your wiring is solid and secure, and try to keep it neat when you push the deck back in place - don't let anything get pinched.

sometimes this will happen if the speaker wire is touching the metal of the car. Alsoif you redoing the system if you have RCAs still connected to the headuit that aren't running anything then this could be the problem.
What is still in the car, amps, subs ect?

is it possible that the screws holding down the speakers are the source of the problem, because there is a big chance that mine could be touchgin metal................... Iwill have to figure this out over the weekend...........

nO, the screws holing in the speakers are not a problem. How else would you securely mount them. But things like RCA's run next to power wire will cause this but usely only through high pass or full range amps. Also it could be a simple as a blown speaker.

That same problem happened to me in my Jeep I run 1 12" Eclipse Titanium Sub JL 1000/1 amp, Directed 500 amp, 2 boston sound bar components and 2 bostons in the front as well as my old *** kicker components in a box, o and my new Sony MP70 HU!!! I had the same exact problem and I checked my ground wire and that **** was like 2 feet long so i shortened it and I still had the noise so I put a new set of RCA's in for the amps and it was fine after that!! No problems since, I used Stinger RCA's, I got the **** installed at TWEETER and then this happened so I went to another audio shop and they checked it out and told me that the ground was way too long and then while I was there we tested new RCA's on the amps and it was fine!!! So I bought the RCA's and went home and installed them myself, I'll never go to TWEETER again, NEVER!!! So I say it's definately your RCA's cuz TWEETER gave me **** for RCA's and once the STINGER's were in there it was like audio heaven!!! lmao Hope that helps!!!

Ground wire length isn't actualy that critical they jut say to keep it short to make sure people don't try running it back to the battery. I would assume they left if long, which 2 ft is actualy very short, to make it easier to install and service. Stinger RCA's did you ge them from Tweeter if not you can hardly blame them for a crappy product you bought and asked them to install. Always gie them a change to fix and issue. Tweeter has a large corperation behind its stores and survives based on it reputation for customer service. Corperate will not risk that image for anything or any one. If you ever have a problem go to the manager of the store immediatly, he'll solve it.
