I have a question: Does anyone know if the mazda 3 sedan can have a custom split exhaust, with one muffler on each side? Has anyone attempted it? Im thinking of installing one and give it the audi a4 twin exhaust look.

you plan on having it functional or just a dummy? If you want it functional I would be warned cause you can actually lose horse power, but sure it can be done...

 

Functional, but Im really surprised your saying you can loose horsepower. Why is that? I dont like the dummy look, here in Montreal in the winter it looks pretty obvious to have gas commin out of one side and not the other..

just go to a muffler shop, have them weld you one up.. i know around here its a 100 bucks to have a 2.5 inch catback system minus the muffler.. shouldnt be much more to make it 2 mufflers..

 

Is that a dummy muffler on the right?
Mines a black sedan gx, standart with raised rear spoiler. I figured that the money i saved my not going for the gs ill put into customizing it.
