Stock Alarm too sensitive

My alarm is way too sensitive, how do i turn it down. I read the FAQ - and it says to move the shock sensor and turn it clockwise to decrease sensitivity - my question is, where is the shock sensor located and what does it look like? - and.. is there a way to lock the doos w/o arming the system?

Re: Alarm

The 'black box' that holds the shock sensor should be tie wrapped near the steering column, just about by your knees as you are sitting in the driver seat. There IS a sensitivity adjustment on the side of the box that allows you to 'fine tune' how much of a nudge gets it off.

I'll take a look for my installation instructions & try to post an attachment.

Peace.
