stock wiring capabilities/opinion
do you guys know the max capabilities of the stock wiring. i can either put out 50*4 at 4 ohms or 100*4 at 2ohms, but i duno if the stock can handle that and since i am installing i dont want to do too much work . Also, i'll be sendin 300x1 to a 12 in JL w3v2, do u think the 100*4 would drown out the sub? thanks

I asked the same question and I was told that the stock wires can handle up to about 80 Watts.

You always want your biggest amp on your subs, however, in your case, if you already have a mono amp, you can't use that on your highs. You can always turn the gains down if you are getting more volume from your 4 speakers that your sub can't keep up. I am using the factory wires to run 75 watts RMS to my 6 1/2" midbass in the doors, and as thin as the factory wires are, it works just fine. It wouldn't be worth the hassle of trying to route wires down the rubber socket thingy in the door. I tried and said f--k it and used the "high quality" grade factory wire and you know what? It doesn't sound any diferent than when I had 16 gauge wire running to them in a previous install.
