Stupid Blue Leds

Okay, this a question about the law. The law in question is South Carolina Code 56 5 4590.
South Carolina Law
scroll down alot

Anyways, the law doesn't say NOT to have blue. Also, it says on the front of the vehicle so would that include the entire part of the care that you can see from the front?, because I don't consider the windshield nozzle things the front. Anyways, anybody know how I can fight this or get my fine reduced, 207$ isn't easy to come by for a jobless 16 yr old if you know what I mean.

if you're looking at the car towards the windshield, that is the front of the car, correct?

I would say you are S.O.L. The front of the car wpuld mean anything you can see from the front. Otherwise you could put huge 1000w spotlights on the roof and shine them all the time.

thats what 16 year olds do. Stupid things like put faggy lights on the front of thier car that look completely stupid and are good for nothing.

But there is good news, you wont be 16 forever...

thats a pretty stupid generalization. not all young kids rice out their cars. look at mine and my brothers. perfect example of no rice. hes 16 and im 18, so that defanitely proves your statement wrong. it didn't help the situation any for you to post that in the first place. sorry to hear about your fine cuzoe, and you might wanna stick to legal lighting. id also say that you might be stuck with sucking up the fine and learning not to do it again. later

About the whole 16 year old thing, yeah I am stupid, so what. It isnt' like that's my only mod though, i have blue neons under the rest of the car and under the dashes, none of those on thank god (can you say 3607 dollar fine), but i have the injen CAI if that helps my case any. But alas, it is an auto, so i guess it is just ricey, dang, i'll try again later, when i can afford to buy something else for performance and not for looks.

To each his own. I personally don't care for the LEDs, but if you think they look cool, then that's your decision. You're the one driving the car.
I'll bet that if you go to court and look really sorry, the judge will reduce your fine, maybe even by half.

It is not a stupid generalization. I didnt say ALL young kids rice out their cars. But most riced out cars are owned by young kids. How is that generalization not accurate?

in your first post you said 16 year olds do stupid things like put faggy lights on the front of thier car that look completely stupid and are good for nothing. i am just sayin that i dont like bein compared to all young kids that rice out their cars, cuz mines hotter than yours will ever be. so just stop talkin ****, the kid was lookin for help, not some smartass remark about how his car is riced out.

I think that you can have yellow as well. A cop told me that so I guess yellow is legal. At least here in IL.

Exclamation PUT IT THIS WAY!!!

Think of it like this....ANY way u modify ur car to somthing other than the way the car originally came off the assembly line is illegal. Lowering, Bigger Rims, Tint, Loud Systems.....LIGHTs...even the Aux Lights we use for Fogs and Drivin lamps can be considered illegal.

Its redicilus (*i cant spell) But its pathetic how u cant even do anything to ur own pride and joy to keep it legal. wire ur AUX lights each to a seperate switch so u can turn them on and off quickly.
Thats what i do. they are all on a master switch as well...so everything will shut off at the same time.
