Well I'm in the midst of upgrading my sound system in my upcoming Protege. That's right, I don't even own the car yet but I'm already buying the stereo components that are going in it.

I confirmed today that the 2002 Protege ES Sedan takes 6x9's in the back and 6.5" in the front with an adapter. So here's what I got so far :

- Blaupunkt 3-Way 6.5" For The Front RMS = 100W
- Blaupunkt 3-Way 6x9's For The Back RMS = 150W
- Blaupunkt 5 Disc In Dash CD Changer

Only item left is the Blaupunkt Los Angeles MP3/CD Receiver Deck. I can't wait. With installation and everything it'll cost me about $1,250 CDN. But well worth it I think.

i wanted an all blaupunkt overdrive system, but went with a different line when the online dealer didn't return my emails. he lost out on $1500...

Thanks... I actually bought all my stuff off ebay so far. The In-Dash CD Changer I got for $115 U.S and just picked up the 6x9's and 6.5" for a total of $120 U.S... that was a steal!
