Upgrading to H4????

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if there would be a significant difference between a 9004 set up or a H4 b/c I found a place that has an upgrade kit for $100 including bulbs.

Thanx for ur answers in advance!

I wouldn't call it an upgrade. It's just a matter of changing out the bulbs. If it comes with the harness, it's a direct harness that provides direct current from the battery, but the bulbs are still limited to 55watts. $100 is rather steep for a harness and bulbs, you can use the APC one which is about $35 and you can get some bulbs from your local autoparts store for about $30 for the pair.

OH I have those where i work! (advance auto parts) but I wasn't sure if they were legit!

So the harness will definatly make a difference simply because of the increased wattage? Or is there more to that?

It provides direct current from the battery to the bulb, instead of running through the thin factory wiring. It should have less resistance and give you a brighter light.
