Im sure it wouldn't always be good because if you have a minor thing wrong with the car (i.e a big dent or something) then when you open the car doors to get inside, it will definately get peoples attention. Then they're going to keep lookin at the car and eventually see the huge dent.

But... to whoo over the judges at a show and possibly bring home some trophies, I would absolutely consider gettin the doors done.

I showed the suicide door kit from Autoloc to someone at Carxs.com and he told me that the kit is crap. He saw it on someones car at a show and it barely opened the doors and the fabrication job was really bad. He told me they have a suicide door kit that can be made to look like stock and have the doors open up at a full 90 degree angle. He told me that the kit and installation price is 7,000.00!! I e-mailed him askin if he made a mistake and sure enough he didn't. If you all want, feel free to e-mail him and ask for details. Here is the link to the site.

why not buy another protege at that price.. honestly you guys have too much time on your hands if you'd consider suicide lambo doors on a sedan.. much less a protege.. even gullwing would look rediculous.. much less impractical.
peace

Ive since changed my views on the Lambo doors. I think it looks really bad and should be left to the cars that can pull it off, like the Ferrari, Maserati etc. I was toying with the idea of the suicide doors, but then I realized I don't have the money for it. Sure, the kit costs 300.00, but installation would be a beeotch!! The price would easily be in the thousands. But I will give props and be envious to anyone who does get it done.
