shoot well then you better show some pics of proper wiring and give some good details ,, I assume you have done this yourself ,, I am interested to know , cause I have wired my car 3 different ways when I had my system in , and the best was always with the cap installed , wich was a .5

capacitance = (change in time x amperage)/change in volts
1 farad = (time x 60)/1.7
the 1.7 is the voltage drop needed to draw power from the battery. so with that 1 farad cap it will only be useful for .02833333333 seconds. not worth it IMO. if your alternator can't keep up with the demand the amp places on it, then a bigger alternator is needed, NOT a capacitor. and headlight dimming should not be the judge of supposedly needing a cap. proper wiring, proper alt, and proper battery is all that is needed. a cap will not improve an amps performance. today with better power supplies in amps and with larger power supply capacitor banks internally in amps, the ill effects of power supply sag have been decreased with more efficent amp topoligies, better compnonets, and regulated power suppies.

i would honestly stick with the infinity sub, just for the fact its a infinity product. great sq and good spl for the amount of power u will be ussing.

Yeah, I've also heard great things about the E12K's. They're very cheap, don't require a lot of power, and are best in smaller boxes. Good stuff.

Personally, I'm getting an Adire 12" Brahma sub in a 1'^3' sealed enclosure (after displacement). They're a little bit more than the E12K's, but everyone who's had them say they are on par with the JL's W7s!!

Can't wait to hook it up.

As for that amp, it should power a lot of things. Especially if you go ported. It all depends on how *loud* you want your sub, and what kind of bass you're looking for. Underpowering a sub will never hurt it (or you'd blow your sub every time you turned the volume down). Subs can get pretty dang loud with just 300W of power. They just get even louder with more.
