I came across a very informative website by the International Window Film Association that lists the US and Canada laws for tinting allowances. Hope this helps those out there who are trying to find out what's considered legal in their respective area.

So if I read this correctly I'm not allowed to have any tint anywhere on my car?

The dealer installed tint on the back 3/4's of my car.... I had considered getting a light tint on the front windows. I had heard it was illegal but now it looks like I'm already breaking the law.

any thoughts, comments or suggestions?

Bingo!! But I doubt any cop is gonna care... providing the tint isn't too dark.
