Has anyone tinted their top part of the windshield? My P5 is in silver,and thinking to tinted it silver color. Do they put it on the outside or inside? If inside how r they going to get around where the rear view mirror glue to the glass? how much do they usually charge?

 

The tint goes on the inside and they will cut the tint around the mirror. do not watch it is very painfull looking all the water and razor blades. are you just getting the windsheald or all of the windows if just the windsheald don't pay more than 35 to 40 bucks if that its probably less.

 

I tinted the top of my window w/ black tint. It looks nice from far away, but the closer you get, you can see it was my first time tinting : )~ Still pretty decent though.

Have you thought about vinyl? That goes on the outside of your car, and you can install it yourself. The only cutting you have to do is get it the way you want it on the windshield, and then trim the excess off, easy stuff! : )

 

Just go with the inside one at any tinting shop. It is cheap and any decent tint shop offers warranties for free on their jobs. It also looks really good, I have it on my 2000 Pro.

 

I did a silver stripe on mine.. looks nice!!!
