Question wires through firewall

on the 1st gen proteges, where do you guys put the cord for your amp through the firewall i found a spot underneath the passenger dash where there is a group of wires goin through, could i send them through there too? or should i find another place?

If you are running a 4awg wire or bigger, then you should drill a new hole and use a grommet. You can drill the hole under the brake booster and to the left of the clutch. If you have an auto, then you'll see an oval shaped impression in the metal where the clutch would be on the firewall. The padding material should be perforated in the oval shape.

If you are running 8awg or 10awg wire, then you can use that OEM grommet you found, passenger side, but towards the center.

Also, please reduce the size of your signature pic, thats awful big, especially for those with dial-up connections. thanks.
