Wiring question for P5

Well some of you may remember me getting advice on my system here (see cranking out tunes.. I and II).. now I've finally gotten around to installing it

Question.. I've got a new HU, sub, amp, and front speakers. I need to know how to run wires from the amp to the front speakers. How do I get them into the door and to the speaker? I would assume through the rubber cover that the regular wires run though.. but how??

Also, what kinda wire do I run from the amp to the sub? (edesign 12o.44 sub, axa 440.4 amp)

I have a 2003 P5 and this is the last thing I gotta figure out so I can install!!

ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Kyle

I tapped in to the factory wires behind the head unit to wire the door speakers to my amp. I had tapped in to the wires and from there, ran wires to the amplifier.

Lastly, I used 16 gauge, but you can use any thing from 12 to 16 gauge for the subs. If you have one, no need to get the other as you cannot notice a difference in using monster size speaker wire. Thick speaker wire is good in home stereo speakers when you run over 10 feet of wire to the speakers, home audio specialist recommend a lower gauge wire for less resistance.

well I don't know what kind of power you plan on running to your door speakers....but as long as you aren't running more than about 80 watts RMS to the doors....use the factory wiring...its more than sufficient up to that point....and will save you a lot of head aches getting wiring into your doors.
