is it worth it , simonizing

Is is it worth it , I went to a body shop the other day and they told me 100 bucks to simonize my whole car, what is exactly involved in simonizing your car and is it worth it to do , i mean what do they do , I know they use some form of a cleaner wax, yeah okk .. and a buffer ohhweee, but how long will this last, and don't you think I should just try and do this myself , and if I do do this myself then what is a good simonize, which is the strongest and do you know where I can get it
thanks
Bruce

NO bruce...I don't think its worth that at all....get yourself a good wax/protectant and use it religiously....keep your ride as clean as you can all the time and don't allow dirt to build up anywhere.

This is what I am thinking , cause I am like if I can do it myself then why frigin pay someone to do it ,. I mean when I don't wax my car , granted , it does look a bit oxidized , but when I start to wax it and clean it during the summer, you would be surprised how clean it is , ... forget the simonize, I am getting the bumper painted lol
