YES! New Toyz!!!

for those of you who haven't seen my system, or those who didn't know i added the hr monitors, check it out!

this is another pic of my indash screen-

and my 5.6" hr monitors-

i don't know why my camera displays the interior as redish, but it's blackish so the screens match. i love toyz!!!

the hr's have not supporting "plate", it's just foam all the way thru. and the cover is actually molded/glued onto the foam. it kinda makes it easier to flush mount the screens as you are not restricted by the plate.

my screens are flush mounted to the edge.

Looks freaking great! How much did that one up front cost? Is it a motorized one?

i've been installing alot of screens and NAVI/DVD systems, they are definetely cool and fun to play with, but i don't see the need for it in my own car...maybe if i had a plush daily driver....but i can't give up a race suspension and added weight of more gear

BTW, the new Pioneer NAVI/DVD system is excellent, coupled with the 7" screen. Beats the Alpine NAVI easily.

Man, I wish I had navagation, then I wouldn't get my *** lost driving places I've never been before... Obviously not in my car though because it would cost twice what my car is worth!

yeah, all these toys are fun without really much of a "need"...

the front is the icon-tv 7" indash widescreen, which was about 800 bones. about $400 cheaper than the alpine.

on a related note, i just ditched my clifford matrix alarm for the compustar 2wssr. i like it so far. and i also added a few surprises to my security to help deter any would-be theives. this little baby wasn't cheap, but i needed something to protect my investment.

here's the remote:

That alarm is similar to the one I will have soon. I have an alarm now, but I want the Autopage system. Go to Autopage USA for more details. It is about $700 +, but I think that I can get the hookup for about half that.

I also deal with Autopage, so if your hook-up dosen't pan out, let me know.

all this stuff kinda crept up on me. i was looking at hu's and the next thing i know i'm charging admission to get into my mobile theatre... damn bug!

all these toyz are just that, toyz! if you don't need em, put your money somewhere useful. but if you're gonna run a decent to good multimedia system, it'll run you about $2000 or so. i would suggest these:
-sony 7" indash motorized screen ($1000 at cc)
-iconTV 5.6" headrest monitors ($300/ea)
-iconTV dvd player ($250)

that right there will give any multimedia system serious comp and cost less than alpine or eclipse. they are good stuff, don't get me wrong, but for the price you can get so much more with other companies.
