1.5 how much boost is safe??

Well, my girlfriend wants to boost her 95 Protege with the 1.5 dohc, what turbo is recommended and what boost is safe with stock internals with approx 80k on them? What fmu, rrfpr, injectors and all that crap is required for it?

Thanks
Austin

for the 1.5 i would go with a T25, maybe from a eclipse, you will need a custom manifold...
GTX or higher flowing injectors.
You will have to run something to control the injectors also ... like a S-AFC ..
You will need an ignition upgrade... plus a retard system to add onto that ignition upgrade...
You will need gauges...
Basically you will need everything that is basic to getting a turbo project running ...

I am pretty sure you are aware of the phrase..
Test and Tune ...
get the kit together , test and tune ...
then you will know what you are dealing with...

I personally think 12 psi on a 1.5 is a little high. I would run that thing a little more conservative. 6-8psi.
