AARRGGHH!!! DO NOT BUY A "turbokits.com" TURBO !!! They are junk!!

Hiboost has one for the 1.6L that made 290whp on pump gas and the stock automatic tranny. Buy from reputable vendors.

Man, I was on Wagner's website last night, looking at 2.0L turbo kits. W/O intercooler, kits start at about $2600. Add another grand or so for the intercooler. That's a lot of money. But, there is part of me wondering how much it would be worth it/ reasonable/ possible to but the cheaper kit now, get that installed, and add an intercooler a few months later.

Any idea on how much your SC kit is going to cost, Matty?

Maybe I am just dreaming.... that's a lot of money to spend right before a wedding. But damn, if I couldn't JUST CALL A.G. EDWARDS AND TELL THEM I WANT TO CASH IN SOME SHARES. What a terrible temptation.

Do you accept human body parts in trade, like that damned kidney taking up space in my belly?

yeah, I've not seen a cast manifold like that crack on a protege....i used to crack them all the time on my pinto. I actually bought a $200 SSAutochrome manifold off ebay for my pinto and it's flawless...thing runs like a champ and looks great.
