hey the pinto's are perfect fro drag racing.they hold any engine from 120ci to 429ci, they are rwd and weigh in under 2K lbs. You can also buy them for $200-500 just about anywhere.

i just wanted to know if ur kit came with everything i need to install. Also d u accept payments or all at one time!! I checked out the hi-boost site and man those guys know how to build turbos. I like that hal teck ecu and the dual bearing turbo. But still doin my hmework on turbos to make sure that it doesnt fry my engine. Also i wanted to ask u a problem that im havin: Every time i press the gas my car doesnt seem to hav any power?? Last year my car was idling rough and cutting off, so i got it diagnost by mazda dealer and they said it was the egr valve. So they cleaned it out for free. I also had a tune up and got new plugs; wires r still fine even an oil change!! I still cant seem to find the problem.

 

i also hav the stupid check engine light come on. we fixed a couple of times but came on again recently. i think it might be a faulty sensor...but which one!!

 

you do NOT need forced induction on a car that doesn't run properly. Fix your problems first and then worry about making it faster. I suggest reading "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell to answer your questions.

rod your womp kit doesn't work on a 99 pro 1.6 does it? i think the p5 womped is super!

 

finally yesterday i called the guys of the wagner turbo kit and told them wat i wanted to do. their price w/intercooler was $2600. But they said theyll custom fab mine for like $400..thats right....$400 with them installing the turbo at no extra charge!!!! i then asked him y so cheap to do everything!!...and he said they didnt totaly finish the 1.6 kit. Which means that my car will be the test dummy....who cares anyway theyre freakin professional. Anyhow it would take a weekend and would also mean driving to PA. So if anyone intersted to go in a couple of months when i save the money let me know. Oh i also told the guy(his name is Joe) that i was subscribed to protege club and that turbo matty sent me. I believe this is the reason why they were willin to hook me up Thanks alot gang and Turbo matty(if thats ur name).
