Best Turbo System for 2002 ES-GT auto.

I've decided that a turbo system is probably the best way to go in terms of performance enhancement for my car, but I'm not really willing to jump into this without a lot of information. And I'm not planning to do this anytime soon either. Probably within the next five years, that way I can see which turbo works best with these cars, and how well the cars that have them have held up.
But in the meantime, what are your opinions on the best turbo system for my 2002 Protege ES (automatic)? I am told that turbo's work well, or even better with automatic transmissions. Is this true? Well thanks in advanced.

The turbo kits that our out right now are Spool, FM, and new- Hiboost.

Spool and FM work with and FMU to regulate the additional fuel required. They are not recommended for automatics (FM states this on their website, spool not 100% sure).

Hiboost is the first to introduce an ECU Piggyback to regulate fuel and they claim that it will work with an automatic.

You will want a kit with some sort of ECU Standalone or Piggyback.
