couple questions

this may sound stupid but I know this kid who told me that he has an 98 integra with a 92 2.2l engine. I dont think this is possible but he said that he has put both a turbo and a supercharger on this car, and it is running 10's, with approx. 750 hp. I am thinking bs but i dont really know. he said the turbo alone is a garret t66. I do know that this is a huge turbo and i was wondering if his acura could stand that alone, then both together, and is it even possible to turbo and supercharge a car at the same time?

and last what does WOT stand for I've read it a couple times in these forums and i dont know what it is?

thanks Andrew

oh yeah no proof of this car has been shown

Jesse isn't old enough to remember the Group B Lancia's from the 80's Rally scene. They used both turbos and a supercharger to spread the torque curve.

But, with 750hp, he should be going faster than 10's. And with such a huge turbo (really only useful for drag racing), he'd need something to help it spool up. But nitrous would be much simpler than a supercharger.

So, yes, he's probably FOS.

oh well then there's a catch.

I guess it can be done, but wouldn't it take a lot of modifications to do this. i dont really know what it would take but i guess any thing can be done with enough money. I still dont think this kid did this which is besides the point, i just wanted to know if it was possible.

the meguirs integra was both supercharged and turbo charged but im sure the tuning on that little things is horrendous!!!. i think id just stick with a nice fat turbo thats is the right size for your motor.

hrmm

Honda engines are open deck, bascially meaning not good for any type of forced induction. You would have to beef up every internal piece on that car to handle 750 hp. Hell, any car that you want 400+ horsepower out of will need beefier internals. Remember this though, almost ANYTHING can be done to a car as long as you have the $$$$$ ie. Honda Civic beating a viper in 1/4 mile.
