The Walbro fuel pump seems to be pretty popular. Check this website to see if they have it for your application. I know for a fact that it is available for the 1st gens.

Ive heard of the BOSCH and MSD Fuel pumps are awesome. Ive seen only the MSD on a turbo P5 here that is pushing nice numbers on the track: low 13s

I know that some RX-7 fuel pumps work in the 1st gens. It might be a good idea to do a search as I've seen the info on what years exactly on the forum. I tried to find the thread but with no luck. If I come across it, I'll let you know.

yes get rx-7 one, you will need to splice and do some modifications to get it fitting. if you know who onegimp is, hes got the dark green escort gtx, he ran a eclipse fuel pump and it sucked his tank dry too quickly, i think thats what he said. he runs the rx7 pump now as does one of my friends up here in washington with a gtx engine.
