No Freaking Boost

No Freaking Boost
I installed the turbo setup yesterday i got from bigben(Spool stage 2 manifold, mitsu 16g turbo). It was a pain in the ***. luckily i had a really good friend doing the welding, cuz if i had taking it to a shop to weld they would have said, bitch you better take this **** back home. We had to do all sorts of crap to get that in there. I have to get 2 bungs welded into the down pipe for the o2 sensors.
I'm not getting any boost , you can hear the turbo spooling but that is it. It is not doing anything Terry/anyone help please. It is running rich, i mean like hugh heffner rich, i guess thats because the 02 sensors aren't there. idle went out the door at first, but i took of the neg terminal for about 10 mins twice no it idles fine even without the o2 sensors in. If anyone has an idea on whats wrong please let me know.

Go for a road test it will climb then. Had the same thing happen to me. The engine doesn't produce boots when you rev it, it must be on load that where the boots will go up. So try it on the road and tell me how it feels. I'm currently running 10psi until i get my knew clutch the oem slip to much after 10psi. By the way mine his a 1 gen with a gtx engine in it that i finished 2 weeks ago so i know pretty much how you feel

Okay then, check for leaks in the intake system, check also that your bov hisn't opening to fast under boots, has i saw your running an open bov it may be leaking i'm having that trouble but at 8psi, check also for the connection where you tap in for the boots gauge it must be on the manifold after the throttle body, check for bend in the line of the boots gauges, recheck the wastegates to be shure it open at 5psi.

The wastegates doesn't open that weird then you should have to much boots. I just saw something in the photo you plug your wastegate on the intake manifold after the throttle body if a saw correct mine his plug on the intake tube before the throttle body. If you put it after the tb it's not going to see the boots in the intake tubing and it's going to raise the pressure for nothing has it will not open at idle. Just some idea

make sure your boost gauge is connected properly. do you have a BOV? can you hear it when you get off of the gas pedal?
why don't you have a dump pipe on your external wastegate? you're going to melt some stuff if you don't use a dump pipe!!!

here is a quick way of finding out. you can go straight from the turbo directly to the throttle body, bypassing the intercooler. if this way you get boost then you have a problem in your intercooler to the throttle body, e.g. loose clamps, or BOV being stuck open. hope that helps.
p.s. running straight from the turbo to the throttle body will not hurt.
