Were you asking what it is, or about the preset?

It's preset from hiboost for the specific 2.3l application. The fuel map has already been preloaded into each bank and is stored in its flash memory. It's so you don't have to do your own tuning. I would assume, however, that the kit still comes with the software for the unit. The stored map will be a base map for your kit; you may have to make slight adjustments . However, it will make it MUCH easier to get your car running after installing a turbo kit. (tuning from 0's is a GIANT headache)

But basically all I have to do is just install it to the factory ECU by cutting and splicing of the wireing harness and that is all I 'm done ? and also will I have alot of complications with this piggyback style stand alone?

yep, just splice it in. (with the battery disconnected of course)

just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.
I haven't heard of any problems with the haltech units, the f6x or the f10x. But i've heard some bad things about juan's shipping habits.

Juan is also offering a T03/T04 upgrade with a 38tial for basically the same price on his hiboost website which will be better for me since I want to run low psi and keep it safe? thank you

if you're that experienced, i wouldn't sweat it...juan provides detailed install instructions with pic's...it's pretty cut and dry

install new header, bolt on turbo, bolt up downpipe, install oil lines, tap oil pan, install water lines, bolt on intercooler, install intake piping, run all vacuum lines, plug in new injectors and splice in the f10x...

that's the VERY abbreviated version
