I dont really understand how they could be effective when compared to a "standard" BOV like the RFL. My logic is it would be better to let the pressure out all at once instead of letting it out in short bursts.

I love they way they sound and I must not fully understand how they work but it seems like it would be best to let the pressure out all at once.
