Question Supercharged?

I know what is a turbocharge.
But, what is a supercharge?
What is the difference, if any?

Turbo chargers spool off exhaust gases .So just imagine the exhaust side gone and its running off a belt to spool .... No lag but more loss in power because its off a belt..Jon

You still gain power though.....

Superchargers are not as efficient as Turbo's because they don't run off wasted energy. More power in the end is hopefully the result of each though
