Rkives has a VJ-22 in his, and it's supposed to be a GTX motor.

will the turbo off a 90 probe fit the manifold of the GTX. Would i need an adapter to make it fit.

It looks as though it would fit. However an adapter plate could be made at a local machine shop for pretty damn cheap.

IHI made a T3/T4????

I know that the IHI RHB5 on the 87-88 T-birds has the T3/T4 Flange. Pre 87 T-birds had a Garret T3/T4... I was planning on haveing a manifold made for the T-bird RHB5 that way later I could upgrade to the Garret easily.

What did the IHI T3/T4 come on???

Oh and the Probe Turbo is a VJ-11; you'd probably have to have an adapter plate made....

The VJ-20 and VJ-22 will work with the GTX manifold, the VJ-23 is out of the question. It needs a different manifold as it dwarfs the GTX turbos. The closest thing I know of that IHI made to a T3-T4 is the GTR turbo which is basically a ball bearing T3 "super 60".
