Turbo Fitment Question

I am looking at going FI..I have a choice of 2 manifolds..one fits a IHI VF24 and the other a Garrett GT25R....are there any turbos that interchange with the VF24...reason I ask is that I have a VJ11 in great shape...also will ANY T25 interchange with the GT25R ??? I can also get a 2nd gen Eclipse T25 for cheap.....help!!

I don't know anything about the VF-VJ series turbo's from IHI but I know they are nice. The T25 and GT25R are essentially the samer turbo, what is different is the compressor wheel and bearing cartridge.

I think for cost/upgradeability I'd use the T25. They aren't real strong turbo's when you wind them out but they are decent none-the-less

i have the t-25 from an eclipse, i think the turbo runs out of juice at like 16psi, the upside is you can upgrade to a bigger 16g, if you want to and keep the same manifold this will help you boost higher if you feel the urge.
