Venom VCN-1000

Has anyone tried the Venom VCN-1000 nitrous system as an alternative to NOS or ZEX? Does anybody know of its advantages/disadvantages over the other two? I was considering this system eventually if I went with a nitrous system.

that's probably tru, but i saw one in a magazine, the damn thing was a grand even, $1000!!! for a nitrous kit?!?
i would get me a nice NOS system and spend the extra $500 i could use buying the Venom kit to buy the Carbon Fiber bottle for the from NOS also

You are a wealth of useful information chdesign. What sucks about them? They are more expensive because of how they work. They are controlled by the computer and can be programed. The reason the NOS and ZEX systems are so prevelant is because of their low cost, and thanks to The Fast and the Furious everbody thinks that nitrous is NOS, instead of NOS being a company that builds nitrous kits. Venom's drag car is kinda nice by the way.....

The jettings on the are very conservative for one what they say is a 50 shot may only be a 35 shot. If anything is barely off in the computers given parameters it shuts down teh system and you ahve to reboot it. Like if your fuel mixture moves from rich to stoichimetric for a split second it will shut it down if the nitrous pressure is too high it will shut it down if you don't do exactly what it wants then it won't work also there is very very little user interface as to its function which i do not like give me a pushbutton anyday!!

the button is for fast and the furious!!!! Most people wouldn't even know there was a button if they didn't hype "NOS" in the movie. Not that you guys didn't know, that's just my opinion.
