walbro 255 feul pump on stock gtx motor and ecu

will a walbro 255 fuel pump work o.k. on my stock gtx motor and ecu or would a 190 pump be better, also how high can i turn up the boost with stock gtx stuff on a homemade boost controller and still be safe .
to make my gtx work will i need a fuel pressure regulator, also is a rising rate fuel pressure regulator the same thing and a regular fuel pressure regulator? ive seen a page that sells the walbro fuel pumps for escorts, my car is a 91 escort gt should i get a protege one or escort one?
thanks ryan

i have a friend running stock pressure regulator with walbro fuel pump and his boost is at 13 naturally with a 3" exhaust. he use to have a home made boost controller i think he said it worked until 12 psi or so, that was with a 2.25" exhaust. you should be fine man.

what's your hp goal? the 255 ltr/hr will support around 440-450hp the 190 ltr/hr will support 390-400.

I'm running a Miata 255lph Walbro. Had to modify the pump support at the bottom (bend it out, then put the pump in, then bend it back to hold the pump.
