Check out these Global Gas Prices!

So, I was checking out the global gas price index by country (http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/en...soline-prices), and found some interesting stuff.

Look at some of those low numbers...

Canada is 0.05% off of the worldwide average, so lets assume that it's prices are equal to the average.

Price for 1 litre of gas here is about $1.
Canadian dollar is about equal to $1.

1 US gallon = 3.7854118 liters

Therefore, Canada spends ~$3.78 per gallon.
Also, as mentioned, let's regard this as the global average.

Global average gas price ~$3.78/G

So, if:
#138 Venezuela: 0.2%

Then that's 3.78 x .002 (.2%) = $0.00756 US per Gallon

SO 15 gallon tank: 15 x $0.00756 = $0.1134! Yikes, just over a dime to fill the Pro

And just for fun, last on the list is:
#141 Turkmenistan: 0.03% (not a typo) = $0.001134/G
To bad that in a place called 'Turkmenistan', that 1 US dollar could most likely buy a car

Yeh but Europe gets to keep all the sweet turbodiesels that never make it to the US

Sucks about that pricetag though How can you even afford to drive?

Germany is not a very cheap place since the Euro took over the Deutch Mark. I have some family that lives there so I kinda get to hear about it, cuz every time they come to the US they are shocked at the price differences of just about anything. But then again, public transportation in Germany is quite superb compared to that of the US and probably Canada too, so there aren't near as many drivers as there are in the US.
