Do people still tint their windows?

When I was growing up out in Seattle, every car that I owned used to get tinted windows at some point. Back in the nineties, it was really cool to have deep tint. But I don't see anyone doing this anymore. Probably has to do with Michigan law, which is precisely why I have not tinted the P5 windows. In Michigan, we can only tint the rear passenger windows and back window. Front passenger windows are off limits, because cops cannot see what is going on inside if they pull the car over. IMO, there is no point to just tinting the rear half of the car. But, in other states, is this still a popular thing to do?

I am getting tint this spring, actually. Probably 35% all around.
If it's done well, it can look pretty nice and tasteful, not to mention, I really don't want to attract too much attention from the local law enforcement.

Yeah... lucky people. Especially if the car is dark, tint sets it off very well.

I would beg to differ when I get mine I am just going to have them smoked (barely tinted) cause I think it would look a hella lot better on my grey MSP...

There is a mustard colored Civic Si (new one) that drives through my neighborhood occasionally and he has red sparkly tinted windows

Im way too vain to tint my windows.
If I tint them no one could look in. Smoked is a nice look though. What % tint would that be.

Theres always the NJ law that the front cant be tinted but I really dont care its all or nothing. What I am looking to do is tint the tail lights and 3rd brake light a dark black but so that light can still get through. Im consitering switching to leds.

in cali, the front cant be tinted, but i tinted them anyways when i had my civic hatchback. I got pulled over and issued so many fix it tickets thats not even funny, that made me eventually take the tint off.
