im in the market to buy mazda again!
i have recently looked at a (i believe) a 93" model
MX-6, 5 speed manual
it got (from what i think) 120K miles on it, cuz the tack only has 6 digits, an on of em is to count the blocks drivin
its running for 4G's at a buy here pay hear dealership
with 800 down and either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments
payments for weekly will probably run me $60
do you think its worth it??
it will be my primary wheels to bring me to Alabama, to an from workand where ever else. an im not sure what kinda problems this car gets.
in a rush to buy a car though, only got 3 weeks left to find a car.
anyone know of relyable cars for under 4grand in the chicago rockford area?

You don't say what trim level the car is, or what features it has, or the color. But, I'd have to say that the car is overpriced. If it is the LS and is fully loaded, and in outstanding condition. Edmunds.com says it's worth 3395 for high retail.

And $60/week works out to $240/month. For that kind of $ you can get something a little newer. That's what I'm paying for my 2002 P5. I would keep looking if you have any more time. But that's my opinion.

4 banger
power windows, no power locks, no abs,
well its a next step after dx not really loaded
color is a darkish green
headlights are oxidized, probably needs a new clutch
gonna need some new tires
interior is clean as hell
3rd gear might have some problems though
when parked and in 3rd gear, you can move the shifter almost like its in neutral (side to side motion)
they will be having another 5speed coming in this friday, an ill be checking it out
who knows though.. i got 800 cash (in doller bills), if i shine that, im hoping i can drop the price

Hmm. If your credit's not too bad, 800 down should get you like a 6-8000 dollar car (used car dealers wish for 10-15% down which you'd have) and like luzer said, if you could afford $240 a month, why not a newer car (miata comes to mind if you want a two-door)?

well, they do have a 95 or i think 98' pralude (sp)
i have yet to test drive... they dropped the price a grand to 4g's
i can get some info tomarro or friday on it.. im betting it needs a clutch too though..
well mazdabel.... im 18 with no-cosigner,
(pops refuses, ma' cant, too much in her name, brother is establishing credit, sis cant take the risk, bro.-in-law cant take risk)
no equity, sports car insurance epecially for a newer car will tear my isht up in a loan because it needs full coverage, and i have absolutely no fkn credit, none established.
that is why i turn to a buy here pay here, the best bet to try and establish credit without kissing feet for a co-sign
i can only get what my own word gets me
sorry about being harsh, but that is another reason why im moving
i can affoard 250 a month +insurance no problem.. i just got obsticles blocking the ability
thanks though

if your only spending 4grand i'd say buy a honda/toyota, not to knock mazda's reliability, because i think they are great, but honda's are just a bit better. And if it's basically going to be a beater then you dont really Need to have a fun to drive car, but as long as the car is a stick, it will be pretty fun.
