Thumbs up Mazda puts money on 6

The new Mazda6 is so crucial to Mazda North American Operations that the marketer is giving the car the biggest media send-off for any of its nameplates - an estimated $138 million blitz.

Well they've got one customer already. Moi. Beautiful car. Gonna be a great hit. And a greater hit when it's slammed on coilovers 3 - 4 inches

Wow! I hope it does well Looks really sweet, but I don't want there to be so many on the road that I start to tune them out

I got to drive the 6 at a ride and drive in Winnipeg.
I also drove all the competiters (Accord, Altima, etc.)
They gave us a 2 hour presentation on the 6.
I think its gonna be hard to slam that thing.
The new supension is a completley new concept. There are only 2 other cars on the streets that have comparable suspension.
If you tune one up, make sure to post pics!!

I was just agreeing with you. I don't want to see so many on the road that I end up saying "Oh, it's only a Mazda 6".

One problem with getting a 6, though. Have you seen the dash? Looks impossible to replace the factory stereo. Any1 concur or deny?

I've got the specs on the dash in front of me.
It will be possible to replace the cd deck, but not as easy as on the Proteges. The Premium package comes with a pretty sweet stereo anyway.

It doesn't look too hard, but you'll need a replacement cover (bezel) for the control cluster, which could be annoying though if it's made out of aluminum or something

...

and it would be nice if there's an aftermarket system that makes use of the steering wheel controls and LCD
