New WOMP vehicle??

I'm playing with the idea of broadening my horizons and getting into the Uber-trendy turbo community. What do you guys think of my idea??

150cc Vento PhantomR4 Scooter
9.3hp @ 7500rpms

+

Td04 turbo
(if the MSP has a T25, this would be like a T12)

The scooter is about $2K delivered and runs 65mph bonestock. Turbo is about $300 and assume another $750+ for additonal turbo accessories. Should make about 20-25hp when I'm done with it.

that would be cool if it would work , but i dont think it would work well on a 2 stroke engine,

it's a 4 stroke 1 cylinder engine. The 50cc version is 2 stroke.

I'm not actually considering selling this, just making one for myself. I've been talking about buying a scooter for a while and just thought adding a small turbo would be funny.

being a wee bit selfish and keeping the good things in life away from outsiders

im just kidding...... has to be a pretty quick ride for a scooter though

surely if someone wanted one I could build them one...kinda hard for me to deliver it though so it w3ould have to be a pick up only situation.

Now that I think about it you could have a turbocharged scooter for about the same price as a regular turbo kit for your car.

yeah....I'm serious about buying the scooter now though as it gets 80+mpg bone stock and travels 65mph as-is. Seeing as how I have a 7 minute commute to work each way a 2 gallon tank will last me all month and insurance is nothing. This would allow me to save some cash that I could apply towards the RX7 and P5.

p.s. you can buy different roller weights for the rear clutch to increase either acceleration or top end...I'd get the quickest acclerating weights possible and just race Trans-Ams for money on the 0-60mph.
