Also, possesion is 9/10ths of the law. If it's on your car, you're going to jail

Buying stolen stuff is bad. You can't just say... I didnt know it was stolen. You can still be charged for the crime of buying stolen goods. I hope you do realize that.

My point is what pollax pointed out. If you buy from thieves, they continue stealing. You think it is a harmless crime, but guess what? It is a vicious cycle... and youre causing EVERYONE's insurance rates to increase.

Same with all these damn ricers stealing S2000 antennas to put on their Celicas. Too bad for the damn legal system here, or else Id hook up some 20,000V power source to the antenna or headlight so that if someone tries to steal it.. they are going to REMEMBER never to touch my car.
ok !! so you buy your HID kits from someone ,,, at like what half of what you would charge me for them .. thus more money in your pocket ,,, Profit for you .. ok we will call you a legal theif ...
that ok by you
that make sense

If you buy stuff and you know it's stolen one's you shouldn't buy it. if you did...you are treated as criminal too.
of course you save some money, but why go through troubles?

a market for stolen stuff means stuff will continue to be stolen and sold.

i can't stand stealing, unless it's under circumstances like when a desperate mother steals food for her newborn, then it's justified.

but stealing stuff people bought with their hard earned money is just wrong. you can't say that so and so is rich so therefore, it wouldn't matter. its still their money and they worked for it. or maybe their parents payed for it, but still their parents worked for it.

hey.. if it comes down to it, " I didnt know it was stolen, i just thought i was getting a good deal." is always a good answer.

right... so who pays for all the overhead? warehouse costs? advertising costs? customer service costs?

People need to realize there is a lot more behind the scenes than just buying something "at cost".

How do you think you get paid? Your employer needs to make $. How do you propose they support employees with no profit? Why dont you just go work for someone and say, hey... I'll only request $2/hour because that is my cost! Would you be happy with no profits?

Just so you know, in case you did not, we already sell our kits well below retail. With the club discount, it is below what most dealers buy for.

I dont think that he doesnt have the money for it, he just lacks the knowledge of the basic idea behind how an economy works.

You know, there are places around the world where you can just go looting stuff... perhaps you would rather live in that type of society? In the US, we are more structured. THere is a network of distributers and retailers.

The next time you goto McDonalds, why dont you tell them how they are big theives and demand a soda for $0.05 since that is how much it costs them??

Gimme a freakin break. Your claims are completely baseless and unfounded.

You guys go ahead and spend your money on his HID's ...
I'm getting my turbo ..

and for the record I do know how a economy works, very well thank you.. I also know how a society works also .. and you of all people should know that is based off of money.

You may have all these people in here fooled thinking they are getting deal, but I know better. Life runs off of a profit. and I know you are making yours..

Try better next time...
