Finnish Part vs MPV Part

I may have missed something here. What is the difference between using the Eurpopean part vs the local MPV part?

Price, features?

Thanks

I think for the sedans you need the Euro part. For the P5's you need the MPV stalk.

I think that the European parts are substitures the regular Protege.

The MPV part is the sub for the Protege5 as it has the rear wiper control as well.

I've got them on and have a pic

I have an 03 Pro5. I got an arm out of an 01 MPV, from a wrecker.

I have a pic on page 2 of this link,

ALL 3rd gens can do this mod

P5s can use 99+ MPV stalk

sedans must use European 626 stalk

MPV wiper control for sedan??

Does anyone know if the MPV wiper control works on the 03 sedan and the rear wiper controls are just useless or do we absolutly need the euro 626 control?

I'm pretty certain Edwin has done the comparison and the answer is NO, MPV stalk won't work with Protege sedans

I was driving my friend's Ford Escape (aka the Mazda Tribute) this weekend and noticed that the wiper stalk and headlight stalk appear to be identical to the ones in the Protege5. This might be another source for P5 owner's that want variable intermittents... I am sure that there have to be some of these in junk yards by now with the way people drive SUVs around here.
