General: Electrical Wiring

When wiring things from your car directly to the battery, how does one really go about doing htat? I've yet to really find a guide on how to wire things directly to the battery, or an alternate powersource...although I hear talk of it alot :P

basically you just gotta make sure you get good wire, good terminals and put a fuse inline that'll handle the max current of whatever you're hooking up.
