hey guys (DFW AREA)..lets plan a meet like maybe in arlington area...edwin man and I are thinking abt it so we can solidify our group here in north TX...we can also get info on everyone and contact numbers in case we have some meets or just for reason to hang out...edwin is thinking more like people meet and let show and tell but i think when you talk and techs we have things to prove it..lol..let us know guys...thanks

 

we need to meet up and talk about how we are going to organize ourselves as a DFW protege group.... it's nice to see everyone's car and all, but that can wait for another time... important thing is to gather and organize

oh and... don't be a piece of **** and say you'll come and not show up... don't make an excuse saying you didn't have enough time to plan for it... if you don't show up, I don't want to see you anywhere again... not on this board, not on the road... I'm very serious about this because of all the past experiences of people just stood up on everyone in meets

 

Let's try to keep this experience fun. I've seen too many car clubs die because the fun was killed. Someone is an ******* to the members. Now there are certain things that need to be done, but mutual respect is implied. Life happens, but standing people up is one thing. Don't do it! If plan to come, and an emergency happens, just let someone know. Don't just say you'll come, and just not come cause you don't feel like it.

 

edwin, just let me know ok..call me if ever..ill be going back o work in a couple of days and gonna be busy..but you know me..im always there....its good you took care of the serious part..lol

 

since arlington will be the logical place to meet...i guess we should let the guys from arlington decide where we can do this meet...i believe last time we had one there was a pretty good number of guys from that place that showed up...lets make it work...zoom zoom

it's a long story

 

I'am up for a group meeting. Its just we all have different schedules. I mean, not everybody is in high-school and got weekends off. A lot of us work f**k-off hours and days. Linux knows I'am always open for gatherings. We where the only 2 to show up at the MX-3 meeting last month, I in particular had to skip work for the meeting, and Linux had barely recover from last nights work. So be understanding and complaciant and it will work out. I'am very interested in supporting our own group.

Lemme know when/ where to show up... I'll be there. I work M-F 8-5 so as long as you don't meet at noon on a tuesday I'll be alright....

 

Not to mention that I went to work right after drinking and eating wings at Hooters after the Supra Meet.

 

well, I dunno if this idea woudl work for any of you or not, but us Rx7 guys meet on Wedesdays about 9 or 10pm at Starbucks @ 635 & MacArthur.

We could do a combined Mazda meet sometime maybe? Don't know how that time works for anyone, but it's an idea....

 

Yeah, I've been to one of these before. Did I meet you? I am also LinuxRacr on the MP3, RX-7, Nasioc, and ClubRSX forums. I will probably accually be up there tomorrow tonight (Tuesday). This is a usual spot to meet before heading out to some questionable place to ***e. Anyone else going?

We were the guys who were late working on a radiator install. I showed up & led the group off to Hooters... Somehow I've been deemed the un-official president.

I live out in Ft Worth, so I'm not out that way unless there's a reason...

Yeah, I had to go to work that night, so when yall got off the tollway in Addison, I continued up to Plano. Looks like I lost track of my days again. Oops...today is Monday.. I'll be up there tomorrow night! I live in Arlington, but work north of Plano, so I'm out that way quite a bit.
