HEY out there!! how many of you are coming into houston for the World Import Challenge Races and Car Show in two weeks? its March 8th, 9th, and 10th? All the finals for the races and the judging for the car show are on Sunday...the 10th.

 

well you know im going on the 10th ..geee how many times do i have to tellyou ......lol

 

While I'd love to go, and it isn't far, I have too much other stuff on my schedule that weekend...

 

I should be there.

if you REALLY want to know when, where, who...and all the other stuff...go to the Calendar....the one RIGHT under the Protege owner's club logo at the top of the page....click on CALENDAR....and then change it to MARCH...UNLESS its march already, then you don't need to....and use the link that is in the dates of the 8th, 9th, and 10th...it will take you to the Race Tracks Website....you can follow the links from there to get the event calendar for the track...and more information about the event. at this point I wish we had PROTEGE CLUB T-Shirts so we could pick one another out in a crowd!!..... :{D if you havn't been to this track....or the MotorPlex in Enis Texas, which is very similar.....this is a class A facility....very nice.

 

sounds good not bad if things work out it looks like I won't be the only MP5 there if I go ...... but we need to know a date that eveybody can play with . SO WHAT DATE

 

Tony....the event is for three days....friday, saturday and sunday....I can only speak for two of us....myself and Craigrrrp...we are going on Sunday, for various reasons...but mainly because that is when all the semi's and finals are going to be run for all the race classes....not to mention that there are many cars that won't even show up for the car show till sunday morning as the final judging isn't till sunday as well. SO, unless you plan on making a multiday appearance at the event.....in MY opinion, the best day to attend is on SUNDAY.

vkyoly....NO its not....that is taking place in the ASTROHALL/ASTRO AREANA.....it more of a display and manufactures set up kind of thing...lots of stuff to look and buy if you like.....

the WIC is at Houston Raceway Park near Baytown.....and is a huge show and races.
