Well, the results are in and Protege (or Protege-based) cars did well.

In HS, Gary Szabo won in his Vivid Yellow Protege 5, beating a two driver Civic, a two-driver Subaru Legacy, and a Ford Taurus (?)

In STS, a Protege-based '91 Escort GT driven by Will Kalman posted a come-from-behind win over a Subaru Impreza. I was 3rd in my Protege.

Results can be found here, although as of Sunday night, they stop before getting to STS.

Wish i could have been there sooner (or driven for that matter!!) but i did get to see the format and watch about 12 runs of the afternoons challenge. Very cool format. I hung around for the awards and the normal after chat.

Conradulations on some great driving!
