High-Speed Drivers’ Education - September 9-10
Eight 26-27 minute sessions for each student run group, 212 minutes or 3.5 hours of on track time. In addition, we will be offering skid pad sessions between run groups.
With slightly less than 30 spots remaining, the Shenandoah Circuit provides a chance to drive on a technically challenging racetrack that is one hour West of Washington, DC.
The Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point Motorsports Park features an incredible 20+ turns with significant elevation changes, a dimensional replica of Der Nurburgring at 20 deg banking, negative camber changes incorporated with decreasing radius corners positioned on vertical drops. A technical track that is a blast to drive, especially if it’s your first time out. Participants that have driven the Shenandoah Circuit have enjoyed themselves immensely, literally a roller coaster road course. For experienced drivers and those wanting a challenge; the Shenandoah is a track that will take years to master. An excellent track for fine tuning your trail braking skills.
MazdaDriverS.com events feature:
-- Two-day High-Speed Drivers Education (Saturday & Sunday)
-- Drive your own vehicle at speed in a safe controlled environment
-- High-Caliber Instructors assigned to students for on-course sessions
-- Professional Classroom instruction
-- Run groups and Classroom sessions tailored to experience levels
-- Eight 26-27 minute sessions for the weekend
-- Skid Pad sessions/instruction
-- Most students qualify for solo driving after demonstrating basic safety skills and appropriate on-course behavior
-- Registration is available for both Mazda and non-Mazda vehicle owners
Photos, videos of MazdaDriverS participants enjoying themselves at past events are online. Registration is ongoing for the September event. Typically, the events sell out in advance.
