Notice what Roger Foo will be racing?
Taken right from OverBoost:
"Those of you that picked up our Monterey Sports Car Championship coverage will know that Roger Foo was the dominant driver of the Speed Vision cars. Well, Mazda has grabbed the baton and will be sponsoring Foo in the 2002 race season – not a bad deal for Rookie of the Year to have a factory-backed racecar! (It’s a Mazda Protégé 5, if you were wondering.)"
I thought that was interesting.

foo fighter
Yeah baby. hopefully the foo fighter can hold it down and represent mazda like he did with that little honda. He is an excellent driver he should definately woop some *** now that hes got sponsors and money backing him up. I dont know if any of you watch the touring season or not but you have to give it up to foo. He usually places in the top ten and that was with a homegrown honda hatchback with no sponsors or anything. Hes my favorite racer even though he used to drive a honda and now hes gonna drive a P5. I Have a feeling this season is gonna be great. Even better now that foo is going to drive the same car i own a P5. All i have to say is (ROGER ZOOM ZOOM FOO)

Hey someone should get in contact with foo and tell him to join PROTEGECLUB so he can tell us the secrets , tips and tricks tri point is going to be dumping into his P5. That would be pretty dope, just a thought

Foo's Protege5 is not one of Tri-Points cars. Roger is going to team up with Charles Espenlaub with the JT Designs/Protomotive Team. There should be a major sponsor to annouce soon too.
Tri Point does an excellent job, but ICY and Protomotive both had top 10's last year too. Protomotive put the Foo deal together after Roger approached them at the end of last season wanting to work with them.
It is going to be a great racing season. So far, over 80 (!) cars are registered for the Touring Class.

Looks like Protege is finally gonna make a serious push in the Touring Class, go Zoom Zoom!

Hmmmm interesting. This quote was in one of the latest articles from OVB. They are usually fairly accurate.

Foo will be driving the only P5 in the series, how cool is that!?
as for Circuit City, I'm gonna drop by CC today to buy something just to applaud their support for racing a Mazda Protege!
