Protege Drag Car
#3
I found the pics on a nissan 300zx site. They were taken at a race shop in southern california called JIC Magic. No details on the car. The JIC website doesn't talk about it a whole lot, and all that the 300z people said about was "it was loud." I might run over to this shop and ask about it and get some pics.
JIC Magic
click on 'project cars' over on the left hand side, and it's the second car down.

JIC-Magic Protege
They told us at Seven Stock in Irvine CA that it was making in excess of 500 hp. It is full standalone and he would not coment on turbo size, boost pressure, ect. They said they built the stock block as far as it would go (didn't say how far that was), and then built it with forged bottom end and custom valvetrain, ect. It is very loud but not as loud as the mighty rotaries there, but plenty loud for a Protege.
