Roger Foo leaving his Protoge Team
Found this post on another board posted by Roger himself.
Boy doesnt sound like things were going very well there. Hopefully he finds another ride pretty soon. Maybe with another Mazda team.
The really sad and scary part is that Jim Jordan is a Mazda employee and was significant in getting the Mazda factory support for the Protoge teams. I have spoken to Jim before and he is very serious about getting the Mazdas to the front of the pack, if he is having trouble with his team that could be a bad thing for Mazda. If he is having problems with cashflow and has to drop out, hopefully Mazda will still support the teams.
I dont know any more about the story than this right now, so dont read into it too much, but from the post I am just speculating on things that might come. I am going to speak both to Roger and to Jim and if I get any more info I will pass it along.
Roger Foo is no longer...
Affiliated with Team Protomotive, Jim Jordan, Joe Jordan or it's entities.
Roger Foo is not liable nor has ever been liable for balances outstanding by Team Protomotive.
If you are owed money by Team Protomotive from this past season, please do not ask me for payment. I am in line as well. If you have any further questions you can email me. If you are thinking about partnering with the team, please consult me for the honest facts.
Happy Holidays!

Well guys, I spoke with Jim Jordan who runs Rogers team and it turns out its not as bad as it sounds. Roger is leaving the team, but should be back next season, possibly with a Mazda.
Jim Jordans team will return and should have plenty of support.
Dont want to get into any more details at the request of the team, but all is looking ok and Mazda will be back in full force and support for the teams next season. Cant wait.
