SIN Races.....

Well I went to the SIN (Southeastern Import Naionals) Sat. and had alot of fun. It was extremely hard to pull down a good 1/4 time because hot weather + turbo does not mix. It finally cooled off a little so I finally did get 15.4 secs in the 1/4 at 99 mph (which I was surprise at the speed). I got to race a Neon SRT and I did get him off the line a little but ended up getting my *** handed to me LOL final was Neon 14.3 me 16.1 yeah that was not one of my better runs lol. One of the most impressive ride out there was a first gen Eclipse running at 21 psi (DAMN!) he was pull down 12.4 1/4 times smoking all the EVOs, STIs, and Neons .....It was a good day wish some of you guys could have made it....

It is really simple the R/T is you reaction time (how quick of the line you are) the 60' is you 60ft time (fron the line to 60ft). Same w/ the 330' as the 60. next is you 1/8 of a mile time and of course under that is how fast you were running. the 1000' is the same as the 60 and 330. Then you 1/4 time and how fast you were going...

how does it feel with the new exhaust on it? does it have some more top end grunt.....I know with my MSP it seemed to fall off after about mid-rpms...it was like it pulled hard then like a regular 4cyl again.

Yeah top end it pulls a hella lot harder like in the 1/4 from a previous time i got the same time 15.4 but my speed was 91 miles an hr and this time w/ the exhaust I was at 99 mph. I honestly think if I did not get a screw in the tire i could have pulled down a 15.2 or less cause later in the day it cooled off considerbly. I will plan on go to the Steele track some time at night to see if I can't...
