any one going to watch the WRC race tonight on "speed"vision.
if so where is the race taking place. I hope its not a spain re-run I have seen that one like 8 times this last couple of weeks.

 

The race was awsome I wish they showed more coverage of the 2 wheel drive class. The mazda Pro took first on the first leg, that is awsome news

 

Major bummer dude. it used to be my favorite channel untill NASCAR took over. I F*CKING hate NASCAR !

They're supposedly broadcasting live from the event ( ! )
I'm goign to try and listen all day from work tomorrow should be intersting.

Saw most of the SCCA rally that was just on tonight (go Canadians winning on snow ... nice work to the Protege.

 

And NASCAR racers are such PU$$IES too I was watching the end of one while I was waiting for WRC to come on and some racer was racing pretty agressivly and someone else cut him off and they both spun causing a 4 or 5 car pile up. Anyways one of the guys who's car was recked and he could not continue said," Yea we are only 85 laps into the race and these guys are racing like there are only 5 laps left." I was like WTF if the last 5 laps are the only ones you are going to race than why have the 495 laps in front of them. What a waist Damn Crack heads.

The first program was the rallyXS preshow for the Cyprus Rally.

The second one was the SCCA Sno*Drift ProRally. They showed a ton of the G2 Lancer (Lauchlin O'Sullivan) and just 2 quick clips of us (Protege).

The fact is...we WON G2 class and Lauchlin got 4th...not just the first leg. That's why it showed Mazda leading the G2 Manufacturer race at the end.

Why did they show so much Mitsu and so little Mazda? Money. Mitsu, Hyudai, and Subaru pay for the production of the show. Even-handed reporting? Not hardly...more like an infomercial for the 3 afore mentioned companies. That's just the way it works in motorsports television, I'm afraid.

 

Hmmm, anybody we could e-mail / phone / fax to see why the coverage was so biased even though we kind of know the answer?
