Water Getting in my Cold Air Intake !!!!
I have read everywhere and no one seems to have this problem. Every time my car sits in the rain or when I am driving in the rain the water goes through the cracks in my hood and falls into my intake. Then when i drive it misses gears and my check engine light comes on. I know i must be sucking in water to my engine along with air and I dont want to **** my engine up. I am probably going to just put my stock intake back in. Does anyone have any advice for me. Also is there anyway I could eliminate that whistle?

filter.
Your best bet is to get a waterproof cover for the filter. Otherwise you'll be fighting CELs forever.
And the whistle, that's the sound an intake makes. Different pitches, maybe, but
if you want the intake to do it's job you'll have to put up with it.
Any mod that allows your car to breathe more freely in, or out, is gonna make noise.
