Hawk Brake pads and Power slot rotors
Hello,
From what I can tell ... it seems that mazda owners recommend using Hawk HPS brake pads. And recommend against the use of EBC pads.
I was going to replace my brake pads ... so I figured I should get some slotted rotors while I'm at it.
Is there a good place that I can get power slot rotors and hawk brake pads for a good price.
Tirerack sells both ... but for some reason they only list front brake pads for the 3? .... not sure why....
Any advice?

i have been looking for the best deals on performance rotors for my 04 mazda 3 hatchback and the best price i found was from brakeplanet.com you can get the front and rear set of rotors for under 250.00. i dont know how good the rotors are but they have a lifetime warranty against defects.

I just recently put this combo on my 07 s touring and i have nothing to complain about it. Just as long as you follow the break-in procedures to a "t", its money well spent.
I purchased my rotors (all 4) through Tire Rack and purchased my pads thru raceshopper.com $370 for rotors $150 for pads

Anything better?
Brakes can be tricky. What's the best rotor/pad set-up to stop the heat damage, retain modulation, and reduce dust?
I'm not eager for drilled rotors since durability is an important criterion for me also.
