maybe they just can't drive.... or... ride

i had a few decent races in my mazda 3i 2.0 when i first got it i was beat by a mazda 3s 2.3 now over a year and alot of money later the only thing i'm lacking is a turbo kit. anyways about a month or so ago i completely killed a mazdaspeed3 as soon as i hit the timing change at 4500rpm in 2nd which was satisfying. then the same night i somehow kept up to a yamaha bone stock 900r crochrocket thats a friend of mine. i could hear his bike screaming in front of me along with my car screaming but i Was almost rubbin his back tire from a 2nd to 4th gear roll before i backed off. although i couldn't get around him or close in any more, i was super shocked that my car kept up without loosing an inch. a few days later a guy i've seen around newport with a modded 1jz toyota solora with a small (8lbs boost) turbo challenged me to a 30-100 mph roll. i thought for sure he'd pull out in front. turns out i was inchin past him till we cought up with traffic on the freeway. i'm just suprised at how much faster my car is now. soooo maybe they just can't drive. or could my mazda really be a super fast naturally asperated car?? crazy. just somewhat mind boggling to me and thought i'd share my story. i wanna hear other stories of heavily modded N/As killin some modded turbos

Zoom Zoom power!!! fewtimes I race with honda V6 accords and i beat them with my 2.3 mazda 3, maybe i was lucky, maybe they don't know how to drive, or maybe i was totally insane who knows?? I seen many naturally aspirated cars beat turbos many times...remember the fact that does have a turbo doesn't mean it's a killer, IF you have a turbo car who it's near perfect set up yes it will be a killer...

LOL he smoked a 900cc streetbike and a car with a 1jz in his 2.3l Mazda3.

It doesn't add up.

remove engine, dissasemble. dump 2k in the block alone, new internals, remap, 3k+ fuel system, dry shot. 12k total into engine. $0 into body 3k into stance. 600 into dunlop direzzas. built transmission swap. put a plate on it you got yourself a street legal sleeper 900cc streetbike keeper upper. thanks to some inside sources! never smoked it tho, as i did state. however, now with dryshot... maybe. but like i said maybe he just couldn't drive. oh. and mine is a mazda 3i... 2.0! if you'd like i can share stories of my 3i getting whooped over and over by my buddies highly built precision tuned srt4 running i think only a little more than 500hp... but that would be no fun for me.

Here's my lame little car. I can't even come close to keeping up with a CBR900.

i love rx-7s and i hate the usual body kits and graphics! i'm a sleeper kinda guy, your car is beautiful! looks like your about to show that vette your taillights too! The RX7 is by far one of my favorite cars! i'll trade you! ha ha just kidding, the race 3 isn't running anymore... dry shot maybe to much? then i do a CAI mod on the daily 3. and it's running lean and doesn't idle worth a damn, my luck. to combat the situation, any ideas on how good is the, Diablo sport predator performance chip?? i'll have pics up soon of both 3s, and the re-rebuild after only about 25,000 miles; hard hard miles tho.
